I'm guessing there are a lot more "get me a bagel and a diet Cone" e mails now.

Re: The Hillary-thread
One could design a lecture on what the secretary of state does for high schools
1 assignment: read 100 emails from the last batch, summarize
How many were about bagels, coffee, doughnuts or diet soda?
2 practice emails yourself
3 enact scene informing the loved ones of ambassadors who willingly took risky jobs and got killed
The class can also do the calculations. Hillary is caught with her pants down: with..what? 100 000 e mails?...she must have sent some from the toilet!

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Re: The Hillary-thread
All the dirt is coming out:

Among the 725 pages of correspondence released Monday by the conservative group Judicial Watch was an email that former Bill Clinton aide Ben Schwerin wrote to Clinton Foundation executive Doug Band and longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, to ask about an unusual request from Bono.
"Bono wants to do a linkup with the International Space Station on every show during the tour this year," Schwerin wrote of the musician and activist, who has previously donated to the Clinton Foundation and helped with foundation events. "I'm trying to figure out who the best contact is to talk to at NASA or the congressional committee on science and technology. Any ideas? Thks."
"No clue," Abedin and Bland both replied.

And I thought she made a lot from speeches. Meetings are where the real money is at, $2 million a pop almost on average.More than half the people outside the government who met with Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state gave money — either personally or through companies or groups — to the Clinton Foundation. It's an extraordinary proportion indicating her possible ethics challenges if elected president.
At least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to a review of State Department calendars released so far to The Associated Press. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.
Donors who were granted time with Clinton included an internationally known economist who asked for her help as the Bangladesh government pressured him to resign from a nonprofit bank he ran; a Wall Street executive who sought Clinton's help with a visa problem; and Estee Lauder executives who were listed as meeting with Clinton while her department worked with the firm's corporate charity to counter gender-based violence in South Africa.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
Re: The Hillary-thread
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-powel ... SKCN10Y1HNFormer Secretary of State Colin Powell blamed Hillary Clinton for “trying to pin” her email scandal on him.
Earlier last week, the New York Times, citing FBI notes from an interview with Hillary Clinton and an upcoming book, reported during a dinner conversation in 2009, Powell advised Clinton to use a personal email account as an efficient way to communicate. Powell says he has no recollection of the conversation, though he did write Clinton an email after she started using her private email server, describing his limited use of a personal AOL email account.
The media on this story missed the context, and simply played it as a he said-she said piece. Here's the likely full story.

"Her people have been trying to pin it on me," Powell, 79, told PEOPLE Saturday night at the Apollo in the Hamptons 2016 Night of Legends fête in East Hampton, New York.
"The truth is, she was using [the private email server] for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did," Powell added.
Oh course Hillary was using it for classified information too, and did not even use a state department email address.........."Powell told her to use her own email, as he had done, except for classified communications, which he had sent and received via a State Department computer ... [Powell] confirmed a decision she had made months earlier – to keep her personal account and use it for most messages."

What would you say if more than half of Condoleeza Rice's donors met with her at State?

Good thing they donated. It's a charity. She should not meet with the kind of bums Trump meets daily.
