Social darwinists advocated positions such as the following:

1. Individuals and companies compete in the marketplace in an identical way to individual organism competing for resources, then out-breeding their rivals. Natural is conflated with good.

No it's not, it's merely an observation that competition improves the quality of the competitors by weeding out the weak and stimulating the rest to more industrious efforts at success, which in a capitalist free-market system is virtually unlimited, as Bill gates and Mark Zuckerberg prove.

What's stupid is the leftist notion that socialism is "good" merely because it uses the word "social." It's a political system that's as antisocial as it can possibly get.

2. Poor people should be given no assistance, as they are poor because they are failures in the race to succeed which they take to be human society.

I've no problem with poor people being given assistance so long as the assistance is given (and paid for) voluntarily by those to whom it is important to assist the poor. What I object to, and what conservatives object to is the liberal/Marxist/Progressive penchant for robbing the rich to give to the poor, but not for the purposes of helping the poor become un-poor but for the purpose of hopelessly enslaving them to the government slop-trough by controlling their food, shelter, medical care and everything else through the carrot and stick of government-funded assistance...which is doled out just enough to keep them from rioting and lynching politicians but not enough to raise them up out of poverty because if they find out just how much they can prosper in a free-market capitalist society if they apply themselves they will turn against government handouts as the golden chains of slavery they actually are.

3. People with any form of genetic disability should be forcibly sterilised.

That's a lefty position propounded first by socialists like the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger and her ilk. Eugenics has never been a conservative position. It has been a socialist/Marxist/Progressive position for more than a hundred years however.

All these ideas resonate best with right-wing rather than left-wing thinking.

Eugenics was the brain-child of leftists and Marxists way back before Hitler.

Man faces conspiracy, assault charges in Pokemon Go shootout

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Police say an armed man accused of trying to rob Pokemon Go players in Las Vegas before a shootout left him and a player injured now faces charges of conspiracy, robbery, battery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Authorities said Tuesday that 18-year-old Elvis Campos was taken to jail after being treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound to the back.

Campos was shot early Monday as he was demanding the possessions of six people at a park east of downtown as they were playing the popular smartphone game, which sends players to physical locations to "catch" virtual Pokemon characters.

The two sides exchanged fire after a player who has a concealed weapons permit drew his own gun.

A juvenile with Campos at the time also faces charges.

The 18-year-old gunman who killed nine people before killing himself in Munich on Friday, was proud to be born on April 20th 1998 and thus share a birthday with Adolf Hitler, the FAZ has been told by people close to the investigation.

David Sonboly, who was born to Iranian parents in Munich, was allegedly proud to be German and Iranian and which he considered to make him “Aryan,” people who knew him told investigators.

According to Nazi ideology Iran is the homeland of the Aryan “race.”

Sonboly hated Turkish people and Arabs and nurtured a feeling of superiority towards them, the FAZ reports.

Investigators are now looking into whether he intentionally killed foreigners. Seven his nine victims were Muslims and all nine of them had migrant backgrounds.

Wouldn't overstress this, though. Young school shooters always look for some kind of ideology to base their hatred towards society. The guy could as well have chosen Islamism or some misunderstood Darwinism (as previous school shooters did).
