If Seth had something to offer the site, then I would feel a loss by his suspension. But the place is a lot better without him here buggering up every thread and ranging veiled attacks on everyone and everything that doesn't align with his extreme right-wing old-testament view of the world.

I only worry about what other people post when they continually violate the forum FUA with impunity and disdain for other members and are allowed to get away with it.

Started what? I haven't reported any one. I won't report Dodo as I get a good laugh out of his rants. I usually don't report you, but I've been considering altering that position given how nice the place has been the last 6 months with you largely absent from here. I generally don't report anyone, although I did report Coito about two weeks ago after his repeated personal attacks built up to pass my threshold for what i was willing to take.

Thanks Seth but I'm against the report button on principle. Freedom and liberty mean a lot to me. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of conscience are the hallmarks of my very being. I would rather get banned from a thousand forums than compromise my principles.

I am too. Or I used to be, until quite recently in fact. But respect for freedom of speech, conscience and expression does not require that one tolerate any and all abuse by others, particularly in this forum where personal attacks are prohibited.

I'd do away with the rule, but so long as it's in place, and it's being enforced against SOME members I think it needs to be enforced against ALL members in a fair and even-handed manner. That's all I'm requesting and I don't think it's an unreasonable request.
