It was about that feminist retard Steve Shives but it got me thinking. If we conservatives/republicans and to a lesser extent libertarians are so stupid, illogical and a bunch of knuckle draggers, then why do you have to censor us? Why do you have to misrepresent us? If we are so delusional shouldn't you be able to quote us directly and shine a torch on us? Why is the MSM so dishonest. Why do the lefty/liberals love censorship and controlling the narrative so much? If we are really so evil why lie and censor and make up bullshit about us. Print the truth and shame the devil but your narrative would be exposed for the sham it is. So keep being deluded lefty/liberals as reality is too uncomfortable for your lived experience. Lefty/liberalism is a brain disorder and soon science will conclude we were right to state this.

It depends on what you (DD) mean by censorship. State censorship? I agree with so called "hate speech" laws, as hate speech is unnecessarily harmful. But aside from hateful racist and homophobic speech, I don't think states censor your lot much.

If you mean private censorship, then yeah, I kind of agree with you to an extent. There is definitely a strand of leftism that doesn't like hearing stuff they personally don't like, and therefore censors it. I have two views on that: One, it's private censorship, so a person/organisation can do what they like in that regard; but on the other hand, two, censoring stuff kind of lends a legitimacy to idiocy that it doesn't deserve. I've been blocked by three strong willed and prolific leftist activists for statements that they disagreed with (they weren't personal attacks, or hate speech; simply disagreeing with their world view). At least two of them are Marxists, so that's not that surprising, and the third has some Marxist sympathies.

I agree as I was there. There was sexism, racism and homophobia coming from the right. I was a lefty then and we challenged it using reason, logic, reality and science. I just don't understand the current lefty/liberal agenda of censorship, made up social constructs and outright lying, I mean what do they hope to achieve using such dishonest tactics. Insulting, shaming and violence against good people will only take you so far and in the end they will rebel against such unfairness.

Regarding tolerating the extreme left, I don't really. I speak out about it all the time, and not infrequently wind up in facebook wars with Marxists. I'd probably have more of them except they keep blocking me because I don't buy their bullshit.

I don't consider feminism nor blacklivesmatter as extreme. There's nothing whatsoever extreme about blm as far as I understand it. Feminism has some nutjobs, like any ideology, but the vast majority of self-declared feminists are sane. Like I said, you (and Coito, for example) live in another universe. It's perfectly normal here for the conservative right to call themselves feminists. You sound like you were born in the wrong country. Merka would be the place for your backward conservative views.
