With luck, the UKIP will just dissolve into irrelevance without him.

He's entitled to a rest. He's saved the country. It wouldn't have happened without him.

Maybe we could get rid of the royals and make him President. I'd vote for that.

And besides, UKIP's major donor Arron Banks has had enough of him.

6 days ago: Leave donor plans new party to replace Ukip – possibly without Farage in charge.

I can't see Farage not winning man of the year (as did Hitler). One man broke the global economy quite an achievement

I read a rumour that George Soros lost a packet by betting against the Brexit vote.

Now he's agitating for a second referendum.

It's only a rumour, but I hope it's true.

Entitled to a rest? What from? Punchable Face does not work. It seldom turns up in Brussels while accepting his fat check every month.

Looks like the wise nods were right. The economy is tanking. And the nobs responsible have all abandoned ship. Thankfully it is clear who is really to blame. (*slims. :read:

Indeed. That is and was the fallacy of the beLeavers, that the cause, blame, and solution for the housing crisis, wage stagnation, a shortage of school places, etc could all be laid at the door of the EU and migrant workers when in fact its the actions of UK governments which has brought about that situation. The scene is set now - all the UK's problems are now officially someone else's fault and responsibility and no doubt we'll be seeing a crack down on, and a scapegoating of, benefits claimants, the disabled, single mothers, asylum seekers, and others without power or influence, while a depressed economy is pinned on the EU making things difficult. All this was said before the referendum, but the beLeavers ridiculed, rubbished, and lied anyone who raised the possibility that Brexit was not the promised path to the land of milk and honey.

The governor of the bank of England gave it a bit of "I told you so" today, mainly as bravado to cover the fact that his dire warnings turned out to be highly exaggerated.

The stock market is UP over the period, and the pound is down about nine percent.
Considering that the pound has been talked down by everyone, prior to and after the vote, it's not surprising. The governor's comments caused a drop today. He knew exactly what he was doing.
It makes me suspicious that they are secretly working on a second referendum.

I have no doubt that the out vote will hit the property market, as he was saying. That's a good thing, not bad. If there's a bubble, pop it. Don't let it grow and grow.

There is a bubble, and he doesn't want it popped while he's in charge. But if it does go pop, he wants to shift the blame. That's what he's doing, and that's what Cameron did, and Osborne.

The blame belongs to those who blew up the bubble, not those who turned off the gas.
