Sometimes satire falls flat. ;) Still, it's moderately amusing.

As is this photoshopped pic:

How reliable is it? I know he intends to let his successor start the going out process in October, but I have no inkling that he said or intends anything like the article says... or is that site a satire?

About SNN: "Southend News Network was originally started in October 2015 with no real aims or objectives in mind other than to add a satirical/spoof-like touch to issues that people are passionate about..."

I found it quite funny as it is almost the truth or could have been.

The referendum is not valid. Under EU law you must reach 60% on a 75% turnout which clearly did not happen. The petition for a new referendum has 1million plus signatories.

What's the point of a new referendum? Apathetic cunts should have got off their arses the first time.

Entirely agree. There is no need for a new one but the intensity of the people wanting to sign and the whole embarrassment of the situation would add to ignoring the first referendum as null and void which can happen as the result is not binding.

The really embarrassing thing for Farage he said 5 weeks if the result ended in 52/48 for remain he would demand a second referendum using the same law. He has been very quiet on this point.

So they keep having referenda until 'Remain' gets the result it wants? Talk about making a mockery of democracy.

No. They can keep on having referenda as long as no side meets the criteria for winning; 60% on a 75% turnout.

I read somewhere it was part of the EU referendum law but it is not. The result is not binding that is in the law. The petition states that a the law be changed so that the criteria should be 60% on a 75% turnout.
The petition, set up by William Oliver Healey, states: “We the undersigned call upon HM government to implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based on a turnout less than 75%, there should be another referendum.”

Yep, a second one would not annull the first, now, when it comes to Scotland, they might take their independance
