Yeah, I hate IPA. But their amber ales and bitter ales are fantastic. I've recently (well, recently before 6 months ago when I more or less stopped drinking) started getting into Pale Ales. I kind of like a mix between old world and new world pale ales. In fact, Australia seems to mainly position itself in between British and American pale ales. But if I had to err on one side, I'd err slightly towards the new world style. More flavour and bitterness.

Well I dont have to go to some obscure micro-brewery to get half decent beer as my supermarket as a lovely range of Trappist and abbey beers from Belgium along with some of the top pilsners in the world.

not everybody has access to microbrewery artisanal stuff... I have to go to specialty bars to get decent stuff, and I don't do that every week as it comes at special (read premium) prices too...
