Nissan is to take legal action against the Vote Leave campaign after the Japanese carmaker’s logo was used on leaflets calling for voters to back Brexit in Thursday’s referendum.
On one flyer the Nissan logo appeared next to those of four other major companies, including Unilever and Vauxhall, with the message: “Major employers … have all said they’ll stay in the UK whatever the result of the referendum.”
Nissan, which wants Britain to remain in the EU, announced on Monday it was issuing legal proceedings to stop Vote Leave from using its name and logo and to “prevent them making any further false statements and misrepresentations concerning Nissan”.

Well, it's clear the big players have more negotiating power, and are able to set stiffer terms for access to their markets. It's not like the UK is manufacturing very much and the financial services sector isnt really in the import/export mix.eRv wrote:Nonsense. As I said, it will be just like any other independent country. Do independent countries not have trade deals? And Britain IS a big player.
Trade benefits BOTH sides. You guys are painting it like countries trading with Britain will be doing it as a favour to them.

I don't take Seth's views as representative of Americans, being one myself (well, a dual citizen now) and having many friends and family back home that would find his views abhorrent. I know people who are gun owners (though it's a very small percentage of the people I know) and even NRA members, and yet am fairly damn positive none of them would agree with what he said.

Stupidity is a heritable trait, which adequately explains your claim, which is not actually true.MrJonno wrote:Well I'm glad to say in the UK from the most further left wing communist to the far right fascists, no one and I mean absolutely no on in the UK has said giving out guns would improve things.
