So much for the stupid notion that banning law-abiding citizens from owning guns prevents gun crimes.

She got what she deserved for being an unarmed sheeple. Good riddance.
Is it your position then that any unarmed person, even in countries where it is illegal, deserve to be murdered? If not, how do you justify this statement?

That statement of Seth is totally disgusting. It really is the pits.

Look at this vid and you are not surprised:

Well, you can make a video of embarrassingly stupid people from any country in the world, especially when you get to decide which answers go in it.

I don't take Seth's views as representative of Americans, being one myself (well, a dual citizen now) and having many friends and family back home that would find his views abhorrent. I know people who are gun owners (though it's a very small percentage of the people I know) and even NRA members, and yet am fairly damn positive none of them would agree with what he said.

Who would agree with him? He is not unique so there must be groups that support his way of thinking.

Oh, I am sure there are, and I know that my group of friends is also not representative of America in general. My response was to the "Look at this video, you won't be surprised". I mean, yes there are stupid Americans. The more I travel the more I know there are stupid people everywhere. That really is neither here nor there when it comes to believing that people who don't carry guns deserve to be murdered.

Entirely agree. It is purely disgusting.
A travelled person always has a greater appreciation of countries and people. I have met many ex-pat Americans who after living here for a while dont want to return. They enjoy the freedom and lack of fear especially if they have kids. I know one particular couple who have two girls (it is pure anecdotal I know) who were here for his 7 year contract and went reluctantly back to the States but could not stand it and moved back here and went through all the immigration procedure which are very rigid and now living here permanently. He is now working for a Dutch company.

Seth is just trying to get attention.

A very interesting lecture. He stresses the legal consequences if Brexit happens.

Indeed. For Seth owning a gun is more than a right, it's a duty - and abrogation of that responsibility warrants death. It's jihadism without heaven.

He explains the legal complications of leaving and why the European single market is unique in the world something Brexiters will never admit. You can also see why the French minister is so right when he said Britain would have only mildly more world importance than Guernsey. Britain will be out in cold with very few friends willing to make trade agreements and if they do they wont be in Britain's favour.

That's just nonsense. Britain will be like any other independent country. It will negotiate trade agreements like everyone else. It will probably just get punished by the EU.

Why would people want trade agreements with Britain? What has Britain outside the EU has to offer. Just think carefully. What will be left of Britain?

The vid is very good as this guy works everyday on legal affairs in the EU. British law would have to be rewritten very fast because over the last 40 years it has been based on EU law. Britain will have no trade agreements when it leaves. How many trade agreements do you think you can negotiate in a year? One if you are lucky. Switzerland started negotiating back in 1987 and they are still talking. The quick fix is the Norwegian option which is also the worst. Britain would pay more for much less.

You're not thinking about this clearly. The EU will have less to trade by exactly the same amount that Britain will have available to trade independently. That's why people will trade with Britain.
Just think carefully. What will be left of Britain?
Exactly the same as is in Britain now. They will lose an amount of trade equal to however much the EU decide to punish them (if they do). And they won't be able to negotiate with as much strength with other countries as they could when they were part of the EU block. But this idea that no one will trade with Britain is hyperbole.
