The problem is with the stupid, progressive, justification for behavior like this -- they're marginalized, so they can do this. Guaranteed, if someone did the same shit to these "protesters", then the police would intervene.
If there's video evidence (which I think you suggested earlier there was), then they can take this to court and have the protesters charged. I'm thinking about doing some SJW'ing regarding one of the male nurses I had in the hospital the other day. He let out a string of sexist jokes while some female nurses were around, and then started on about 'Abbos'. And this was in the public ward where all people (including females and possibly aboriginals) could hear him. I was still high from the anaesthetic so i was loudly rubbishing the shit out of him without any inhibition. I'm probably going to email the hospital to point out how fucked that was in this day and age in the public system; but I'm not going to name the guy. Although, from the looks on the other nurses faces, I'm sure they'll be able to work out who it was without any trouble.

You're talking about utopian capitalism now. In reality corporatism will always develop out of what begins as what you call "just exchange of goods and/or services for likewise". There is nothing you can do to prevent that from happening, though you can impose some control over it through regulations and laws. How well such controls work depends on how well those regulations and laws are formulated and how effectively they are enforced.
