A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

They are scary violent. They're turning over cop cars, assaulting police officers, setting fires, and assaulting and battering Trump supporters. They invade rallies and conferences, and threaten, scream, yell, and go on profane tirades.

Security and police were there - and did nothing -- although Milo informed them that he had been threatened with assault, and they saw the mic get taken from the hand of the moderator, etc. According to Milo, he was advised that the school administration told the police and security to stand down, not to intervene.
The problem is with the stupid, progressive, justification for behavior like this -- they're marginalized, so they can do this. Guaranteed, if someone did the same shit to these "protesters", then the police would intervene.

So free speech is what you accept it as, and where literal speech is criminalised it is either not "free speech" that is being criminalised or free speech is under attack? As I've said countless times before, ideological liberalism is a naive philosophy while ever it is implemented ideologically. I have zero compulsion to accept an argument from ideology in a pragmatic society. Hate speech laws serve to further a civilised society. I prefer a pragmatic civilised society over an ideological fantasy land any day.
