When Bernie agrees with Trump......

That's actually one of the more interesting little mentioned aspects of this election. Trump and Sanders don't disagree about everything

They're both against NAFTA and that new Pacific trade agreement and have both criticized companies for exporting jobs to Mexico.

They're both fairly dovish on foreign policy and against our past military adventurism and nation building.

They both want to make friendly with Russia. Trump questions NATO's roll since we're not in danger of a European Soviet invasion anymore, and Sanders called for a new NATO that includes Russia.

Obviously there is a lot they disagree about, but it's interesting how popular anti-war and anti-(un)fair trade is with both Republicans.

Except neither is a republican. But you are right about their similarities on several issues. It's why there are voters who would vote for one both but not the other major party candidates. Regardless of what happens at the end of these primaries it is clear both parties have some major internal work to do. Hopefully if nothing else it has highlighted how out of touch they have been with what a large portion of Americans are thinking and feeling.

I think we're getting close to a big political reshuffling as party names stay the same but what they stand for is very different. Much like how the Democrats went from the party of the kkk to a party of, well everyone the kkk didn't like lol

Both the left and right will fracture, and I'm not sure where it would end up. You got to see hints of it when ron paul ran 4 years ago, and left wing anti war groups would have supported paul and protested obama. Ah well, living in interesting times.

It'll eventually lead to revolution. It's the only way things will change. Too much power has been captured by the elite for incremental change to occur.

Nato is a big drain on us. Europe feels a small threat from Russia. Which Crimea or Finland is he grabbing next? But for the North Atlantic part, we just pour money into the security without getting much. Some naval practive maybe. Fly and sell airplanes to Europe.
