OK, so you can, presumably successfully launch title IX actions because of frat party and offensive speech? ok, I'm flabbergasted at the judges who don't dismiss quickly.

Not exactly that - but, what they are looking to do is launch a Title IX action and use the college's lack of action against students' unsavory opinions or politically incorrect parties as evidence that the school maintains an hostile education environment.

Well, first amendment rights are more important than a supposedly 'hostile' environment... let the poor little snowflakes provide more robust evidence than people partying in blackface or with little sombreros or let them be held in contempt.

They are? Whether first amendment rights are more important really depends on who you're talking to.

You can see regressive left social justice wingnuts who claimed that Professor Melissa Click defended the first amendment and really knew what the first amendment meant when she forcibly ejected a member of the student press from a public place by calling on "muscle" to oust him from a public demonstration. Literally. I mean it. These social justice fucking douchebags really think that shutting out the press from their demonstrations is within the first amendment, and that when a bunch of feminists or other activists group together they can claim a public space as a "female space" or a "black space" and that's what the first amendment is all about.

Social Justice Warriors are a scourge -- anyone calling themselves a progressive leftists needs to evaluate that stance again. I don't think it means what they think it means.

From everything I've seen or read of the current University scene in Australia (and my youngest son has just done a degree in one), we really have very little of that extremely aggressive PC crap here, as rEv has already said...

It's rife all over the US. These little scumbags are all over the place. And, the only reason that concerns me is that the college generation of today becomes the young workers and managers of the next decade. They are coming into the workforce with this safe space shit, and this nonsense about catering to whatever offends them today horse pucky. I don't want to have to put up with their garbage. Fuck them. Oh, they're offended? Well fuck them. Who fucking cares?

I can already see it -- I've got colleagues that hire these little fuckwits, and the first thing they want to do nowadays is start griping about their personal bullshit. They don't graduate with any understanding that it's a free country and the rest of us don't need worry about what worries them. It's not my job to bother on about what offends them. If they need help, they can go to a counselor. Keep your personal shit to yourself and the friends who want to know.

The Big Bad Real World is going to smack them in the teeth and I, for one, will find it highly amusing (if not downright belly laughable). University is supposed to prepare you for your future life. If there are examples of true racism or sexism in institutions, not just little things of minor import, then they need to be rooted out. If the male workers at a factory insist on covering the walls with nude centrefolds, while commenting on the size of co-workers tits, or when employees make jokes about boongs (nasty Aussie slang for aborigines) when an indigenous co-worker enters the room, then it needs to be dealt with; it's not just PC rubbish.

Shit like that doesn't happen. Nude centerfolds on display? Not for decades. And, that was a function of the workplace, like a factory or firehouse, having been exclusively male.

And, for when there are issues of harassment, there are laws and entire administrative agencies handling complaints.

The SJWs on campus are not railing about public display of centerfolds. They are saying they want discrimination in favor of women in hiring, and that they want entire buildings and libraries dedicated exclusively to minorities.
