Member Of Trump's Campaign Arrested For Role In Cliven Bundy Standoff

Federal authorities on Thursday arrested a New Hampshire man for his role in a standoff by Nevada ranchers opposed to federal control of public lands.

Gerald DeLemus, of Rochester, was named in an indictment in Nevada as a “mid-level leader” and organizer of a conspiracy to recruit, organize, train and provide support to armed men and other followers of rancher Cliven Bundy.

DeLemus, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and tea party activist, last year signed on as a member of presidential candidate Donald Trump's New Hampshire veterans coalition. A July news release posted on Trump’s website listed DeLemus as a co-chair.

You really seem to operate by a different system of logic, sometimes. The clear point is that making fun of Jon Stewart for changing his name is dumb given his (Trump's) own ancestor changed his name (as did literally millions of other people).

As i said, you're just butthurt because a foreigner is daring to critique a Merkan.

Trump made fun of Stewart because Stewart changed his own name, which Trump declared was Stewart being embarrassed by his name. Trump's ancestor changing the Drumpf name would be Trump's ancestor being embarrassed by that name. However, Trump didn't change his name. It's always been Trump for him, and it was his father's birth name, etc.

Surely you understand that the two things are not logically similar.

I think John Oliver's "takedown" of Trump was just weak. Yes yes, Trump made billions, but wasn't successful at all his ventures. He's a rich guy, and his companies have been sued. He says things that are arguably not true, or he changes his position here and there, and he is egotistical and a loudmouth. And, a few generations back one of his ancestors changed the family name. He's soooooo far less qualified to be a Presidential candidate than the establishment politicians that have run for the last several decades..... consider Trump skewered....oooooohhhh yeahhhhhh!

As much as the allusion was obvious, Trump suggesting that Romney was so desirous of Trump's endorsement that he would have sucked his dick for it, it's not really "homophobia." Anyone, male or female, willing to fellate someone for something of value that they want is humbling or humiliating himself or herself in order to get what they want.

I find the whole Romney coming out and lambasting Trump for not being a good business person is fucking laughable, though. Romney says Trump got a huge inheritance. Really? Mitt Romney? Mitt? Son of George Romney, who was head of an automobile manufacturing company and Governor of Michigan three times? Mitt Romney, who attended Cranbrook Academy, one of the richest and most exclusive prep schools in the United States.

The tuition at Cranbrook today for your kindergartener, age 5, $21,000 per year, and that's if you don't want them participating in anything. Oh, high school student tuition is $34,000 per year, exclusive of fees (about $2500 for some miscellaneous fees), and then add to that fees and costs for sports, music and recreation. So, for a year, you're talking, reasonably $40k to send your kid to school there.

Romney's parents paid for that, and then they paid for Stanford University, as stint in France to spread the Mormon faith, and then Harvard Law. All on the Romney family dime. I mean, "I didn't get any inheritance" is kind of funny....

And, then Romney's dad died in 1995, and mom in 1998. Mitt was already over 50 when his mother died. So, he didn't start his business career with an "inheritance" because his parents were alive until he was about 50. He didn't "inherit" money, but just as the Kennedys die and their wills have almost nothing in them (except what you want them to see), they dispose of their money through trusts and other legal vehicles which are not public.
