Ammon Bundy’s resident computer expert insists pro-ISIS social media posts were a joke

A militant who recently joined Ammon Bundy’s armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge as the resident computer expert says he was only joking about his admiration for Adolf Hitler and support for ISIS.

David Fry told Oregon Public Broadcasting that he drove from Ohio to join the occupation because he knew that the other militants “were pretty good people.”

“It was (a) miracle, that I got here,” Fry said. “I’ve had quarrels with the government myself, and I feel there has to be some point where people have to put their foot down against the problems.”

Earlier this week, Fry recorded a video from one of the government buildings that militants are using as a computer and media center. He explained that he had created a website for the occupation.

Fry confirmed to Oregon Public Broadcasting that he had used government computers to create the website.

“I am using any computer I can use,” he said. “Their data is perfectly preserved … you can’t access any of that, it’s got encryption on it.”

During an examination of Fry’s social media accounts, Oregon Public Broadcasting found that he had posted in support of the Islamic State and frequently praised Adolf Hitler. The publication described him as an “Islamic State sympathizer and Adolph Hitler acolyte.”

“ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS FOR ISIS TO NUKE ISRAELHELL!” Fry wrote in November.

Aussie cops wouldn't be scared of them for a second. The whole event would have been over a week ago here with these loons dead or behind bars where they belong.

A couple of prepared fighting positions can turn an Iranian Embassy-type assault into a bunch of dead cops.
A few sandbags...a few homemade claymores... a couple automatic weapons...and you'll end up with a big pile of dogfood dressed in black kit instead of a bunch of happy jackboots high-fiving each other for upholding the majestic mantle of authority.

I blame Andy McNabb. If he hadn't shown us how effective "Bounding" is in the movie Heat, a lot of guys would have had to join the infantry to learn how firefights go to whoever takes the initiative, rather than who has the most matching uniforms and paper authority.

79-Year-Old Bird Watcher Takes Down Oregon Militant With Old High School Wrestling Move

BURNS, OREGON — Grandfather of four Robert Saunders says he was just out to check on some young burrowing owls at the crack of dawn this morning when he was confronted by a “red-faced pudgy man with a big gun”.

And things got physical when Saunders refused the barked orders to halt and identify himself.

But it wasn’t the retired teacher who ended up on the ground.

“Well heck, one second he was warming his hands by this kind of puny little fire and the next second he was running at me and shouting to get down on the ground,” Saunders told reporters gathered near the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

“So I said there was no darn way I was getting down on the ground and he poked me in the shoulder — so, yeah, I did a leg take-down. Didn’t know I even remembered that old move. Did it without even thinking about it. Haha.”

“He landed pretty hard on his back and I could tell he was winded because he started moaning and trying to suck air into his lungs. And that was that.”


An FBI spokesperson at the entrance to the refuge told reporters that this is the first reported instance of any conflict between the occupying militant group and locals but warned that things could escalate quickly as other armed militants continue to arrive by the truckload.

“We’re hoping this is an isolated incident and we’re asking the elderly not to knock any more militants on their ass,” said the grinning FBI agent.

It's the American way to help our brothers in arms in any way we can. We're proud the Oregon Militia is enjoying our tasty Bags Of Dicks. They could certainly use the high fructose sugar rush to help keep their stronghold safe from the Authorities, Bears, and Elderly Nature Enthusiasts.

Their sugar highs will be high, but their lows will be very low. They'll probably crash and need to nap, which at that time I'd expect the local Feds to move in. So amusingly, in the end, bags of dicks may be how this issue finally gets resolved. Only time will tell...

1. Re your quote from rEv: Whether they are dead or (having peacefully given up) briefly behind bars facing minor charges would be up to them. Much better all round if they give up, but if they choose suicide by cop, so be it...

2. How do you jell your predictions of mega cop deaths with your earlier idea of sending them in unarmed? And surely you have professional teams who could deal competently with whatever violence an untrained mob of ranchers could provide. If not, we could always lend you a troop or two of Aussie SAS...

The longer this saga drags on, the more other militia groups will see it as a victory, and be tempted to do their own testing of federal resolve. It should have been jumped on early, if you want a society where the reign of law applies.

There is a bigger picture here. The full plan is only known by the guys with the smarts in law enforcement. They know there is no credibility for themselves or any by killing renegades holed up in a bird sanctuary. Still it might come to that later. What they want for now is 'internet chatter' to locate and identify the militants likely to push this sort of thing in a real societal meltdown, say after a dollar collapse. The longer this goes on the more information they are gleaning on who might pose a genuine threat later. In this respect leaving the situation in stand off mode makes perfect sense...
