Anyone but Hilary

Post by Jason » Sun Nov 29, 2015 10:48 pm

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush said "anybody is better than Hillary Clinton" to be president - but that sentiment apparently just barely applies to his fellow candidate, businessman Donald Trump.

"I have great doubts about Donald Trump's ability to be commander in chief. I really do. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt to see how the campaign unfolded. But if you listen to him talk, it's kind of scary to be honest with you, because he's not a serious candidate,"

Even Trump?

Seriously, were I a Merkin, I'd avoid voting for hilly any way I could, but given the choice of elephants facing her, I'd either vote her or Cthulhu...

I trust Hillary even less than Trump with foreign policy. Bush is conservative but stable - his family has strong ties with the oil barons in the middle-east so he's less likely to burn bridges need to ford the culture gap between Islam desert dwellers and western society directly. Unless Hilary can show me something big, I'm voting Bush.. if he wins the Republican nomination that is..

I'd love to see Bernie become president but I don't believe it will happen. I'm 99% sure that Jeb Bush will be the next president :sadcheer:

Mmmm she looks cute. It'll take more than that to sway my vote though.

Well, given the Republican record, Jeb bush is all right if you like taking it up the arse...

I think he's alright when it comes to civil liberties.. Bernie is far more desirable, but he's got almost no chance at winning and I'm a pragmatist. I'm not sure how Hilary feels about taking it up the arse, I don't quite have her pegged and that makes me wary. In these times people want stability and she's just too volatile.

I think she's post-menopausal, so the worst is probably over.

She could do worse than to re-address the Monica Lewinski scandal - full emotional disclosure might win her the whole show.

Monica has already put it out there.

I don't care that she might have a monthly flow, I don't think that's much of an issue for most people either, what I'm concerned about is her quality of character - particularly her honesty. Many people have the opinion that she's underhanded and deceitful - that she's playing the political game just to get the all-time high-score for a woman. It's very hard to accept her as genuine in anything. A fully honest and open mini-campaign addressing the Lewinski scandal would do a lot to ease concern on that front - provided she is smart enough to address gender issues while she's at it.

She downplays sexuality too much. That's something else she needs to address while she's in the gender issue ring.

She has no quality of character, she's power hungry to the point that she endured national shame so Bill would further her political career once he was out of the white house.
this said, and as politicos go, I deem her less horrid than the competition, if only slightly.

Yes, she has all the qualities necessary to be an excellent President ;)

Sounds like somebody not easily distracted from achieving their goals, able to prioritize and keep a level head where others may fall apart...
