Murder rates

Post by mistermack » Fri Nov 06, 2015 11:09 pm

In the United States, THE POLICE kill more people, in a year, than are murdered altogether in the UK.
US police killed 1108 in 2014. The UK total of murders for 2011 was 653.

In fact, total murders in the US in 2012 were 14,827. So police are killing one person for every 13 that criminals do. That's pretty good, considering how much they are outnumbered by criminals.

But really, most murders are not committed by convicted criminals. More usually, they are by family members etc.
So the police are probably killing almost as many people, as criminals are.

But, I suppose, if people won't show their hands, you have to kill em.
Tough shit if you are an amputee. :funny:

Trigger warning : Trigger happy cop :

While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

There's a lot of hidden murders in the care system. Drugs over-prescribed by doctors or mis-prescribed on purpose. Probably money in the Shipman game if it was organised....mostly it is to keep the costs down, chemical coshing to death the troublesome active ones and so forth. :read:
