"This week a 2-year-old in South Carolina found a gun in the back seat of the car he was riding in and accidentally shot his grandmother, who was sitting in the passenger seat. This type of thing happens from time to time: A little kid finds a gun, fires it, and hurts or kills himself or someone else. These cases rarely bubble up to the national level except when someone, like a parent, ends up dead.

But cases like this happen a lot more frequently than you might think. After spending a few hours sifting through news reports, I've found at least 43 instances this year of somebody being shot by a toddler 3 or younger. In 31 of those 43 cases, a toddler found a gun and shot himself or herself".

On the news yesterday was another story of a little boy (6 I think?) "accidentally" shooting his brother. The thing is, Rum, these kids are clearly criminals since no law-abiding citizen would do such a thing. You wouldn't have known it to look at them: just sweet innocent kids at first glance. But the second they pulled that trigger, their true nature became clear: criminals. Deserving of no sympathy and no mercy. It's the electric chair for them. Get those thugs off the streets. It's a good thing, actually, that they revealed themselves so young. Better to rid society of these hoodlums early, nip this unpleasantness in the bud.

They should be rounded up and sent to special government schools, where we can channel their psychopathic tendencies into something socially useful like law school or Navy SEALs.

I think it's time for a 'shoot anyone you like for free' day - like a public holiday, 4th July or Thanksgiven or something. This will get rid of the weaklings and the duffers and leave the nation stronger, leaner, meaner, and more competitive.
