Does Zombie Culture Inspire Prejudice Against the Disabled?

Post by cronus » Fri Oct 02, 2015 9:46 am

I recall a policeman in my youth who was in a car horrific accident - couldn't walk or talk properly, in fact having broken every but one bone in his body he shuffled like a zombie and mumbled loudly like he was one. This was before The Walking Dead or anything and he had situational awareness still, so avoided trouble. Then there's thousands of folks suffering cerebral palsy out there. And other disablements...effecting gait or speech. Does 'zombie culture' stoke the fires of prejudice?

About me: When ever I behave as a man I am called sexist, It seems being a male is now illegal and nobody sent me the memo. Good job as I would have told them to fuck off.

Loads of vacancies going in Hollywood I should imagine.
We should be MOST skeptical of ideas we like because we are sufficiently skeptical of ideas that we don't like. Penn Jillette.

In my childhood, I loved eating lamb's brains, crumbed and gently sauteed in butter.... :food:

So far, at least, I haven't progressed to human brains...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

My mam had the recipe in a old pre-war cookbook she'd inherited. Not sure if it was ever on the menu. My memory is tainted by childhood illness. :read:
