Given the paranoid lunacy of Islam I do wonder how they can explain away this sort of thing. No doubt some ritual was overlooked.

Doubtless Mohammed nattered the odd hadith about this, one that probably made no sense at the time. I'm sure there will be the usual nonsense about the victims being fast-tracked to Paradise, as they were in Mecca at the time.

I don't want to sound callous in the face of this tragedy, but you just know that's what's going to happen. Hopefully, behind the scenes, the correct lessons will also be learned, and quietly applied.
