The woodworking tool!
I'm going to lash out and buy one soon, so I can rout to my hearts content...

That sounds about right.... then he'll start on the non-xyloid surfaces.

I had to make a "temporary" replacement for a glass counter-top at our local golf course one time. This was at NAF Sigonella, Sicily, and the course was named Rocky Hollow, for good reason. I had just received a router and decided to do the temp board properly. I had someone with legible handwriting put "Rocky Hollow" on the plywood and then followed the pencil marks with the router. I then stained the wood dark mahogany and filled in the router groves with light mahogany putty, then varnished the whole mess. It was still there 15 years later, according to reports.

I so want to rout something, right now!

Thank you for the welcomes! I'm still kind of busy, but I'll check in occasionally. I'll have some building pictures shortly, I was helping a friend build a cottage on an island on Lake Superior. Good to be back!!!

It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.
