Suicide rate for men in Wales 'highest since 1981'
The suicide rate for men in Wales is at its highest since 1981, with a 23% rise between 2012 and 2013, the Samaritans has said.
The charity will set out its manifesto for reducing suicides to the Welsh assembly on Friday, ahead of next year's elections.
It wants the assembly to challenge mental health stigma and calls for a minimum unit pricing policy on alcohol.
Health Minister Mark Drakeford said he welcomed the Samaritans' contribution.

We don't know if his reasons are enough? He hasn't been on the forum recently. Noticed the movies he's watching have become more and more moribund.

We don't know if his reasons are enough? He hasn't been on the forum recently.
He posted 19 hours before you posted this crap. Seems recently enough to me.

Anyway, would not be the first cult leader to fall on a sword with declining popularity? It's always the post-popular ones who do it out the blue. Esteem becomes so attached to the crowd they often drink themselves to death when the crowd goes away. Then I look at Facebook, where I do not dwell myself, and millions of imaginary friends, and bot-friend AI things, and shudder to think the effect on so many egos if the Tech-Bubble burst with a major stock market crash wout would brought Facebook down?

Yeah. Suicide's a young man's game.

Most suicides happen in the mid-forties (mid-life crisis) here in the UK.
