Can't any cunt read??

"After consistent reports of thrust measurements from EM Drive experiments in the US, UK, and China - at thrust levels several thousand times in excess of a photon rocket, and now under hard vacuum conditions..."

The thrust levels that they are talking about are absolutely microscopic, and you need very sensitive equipment to measure it.
And using it in a vacuum doesn't replicate space. On Earth, it's still in the gravitational well and magnetic field of the Earth.

And the link to the "report by NASA scientists" doesn't go anywhere. Odd that.

You claimed it didn't work. Now you've changed your story to "it doesn't work enough".

That's a quote from the journalist. The quote I provided was from the scientist. I suspect the journalist was only talking about peer reviewed research. As he says, there could be some error, but given that multiple labs across the world have replicated this (not peer-reviewed yet, according to the journalist), then it's unlikely. I really don't understand what you and the science conspiracy guy (MM) have against this.

Wrong on both counts.
Firstly, I said that I believed it was UNLIKELY to work.
Secondly, the smaller the force they are detecting, the more likely it is to be an error, or the result of some other Earthly process. Like unexpected interaction with the Earth's magnetic field.

You said you didn't believe it worked. Despite the article explaining that it did work. Yes, yes, we know science is a big conspiracy theory.

How do you know it is small such that error margins would be likely to create a false positive?? What rectum did you pull that one from? :ask:
The way this has come out isn't the normal way that a real discovery gets announced.
How do real discoveries get announced?
The ''NASA scientists'' seem to have disappeared. Or were they ever named? Did they actually ever exist?
I think the Global Climate Illuminati have taken them hostage..
It stinks of being a scam. But all I need is some proper information to change my mind.
You'd need a brain transplant to change your mind. :coffee:

Of course I don't. You'd have to be pretty gullible to believe it works, on the evidence so far.

The link is back working now. It's a link to a forum, like this one.

I don't think it's being negative to be wary about this. The law of conservation of momentum has been used for hundreds of years, and has never been observed to be broken.

It would be a major upheaval to the world of physics, if this works.
I don't detect much excitement.

"If God had meant man to fly, he would have given him wings."

I have not found a statement on any NASA site on the current state of research. Its Technical Reports Server on the project provides only one record, and that is dated December 2011.

I love the "Pickin' On" series, but it just doesn't work with this song.
