As the demographic changes there are more and more old poeple requiring support from fewer and fewer younger people. Foreigners have been used to plug the gap and yet resistance to the new comers in numbers we've seen show that remedy is now unsustainable. What options are there to deal with a increasingly infirm ageing population - that require constant health care and bring so very little national economic benefit? Surely it is only a matter of time currency values adjust to the reality of our lost economic edge? Sapped by the time taken to care for a massive and growing unproductive sector with no potential for improvement? Like passengers, overweight and weighed down with a sense of over-entitlement, swamping one side of the ship - the political party that pays them best, these old folk have the potential to push the country to the extreme right and tip us over into the ugliness of fascism....it is well known folks become more right wing as they grow older....and they would then put the unemployed youth to work with a genocide of largely innocent foreigners, I fear...

I figure anybody who bitches about old people, or overpopulation, should lead by example by stepping outside and gutting themselves on the front lawn. Then, and only then will I give their complaint consideration.
