Today is the deadline [self-imposed] to reach agreement with Iran on their nuclear program.
It looks like it will be achieved.

What that means is that sanctions will be lifted, and Iran will start exporting oil at full volumes again.
And they have built up large stocks in the meantime.

Also, the results of the Nigerian election will be known shortly. That will add confidence in their exports.

It all adds up to even lower prices for crude. Maybe that's why the Americans are making things difficult in the Iran negotiations. They want to delay the lifting of sanctions.
To keep the oil price up, not to improve the Iran deal.

Bad news for the Russians though

This will not help oil exporting countries like the USA. Most likely this is going to lead to war somewhere else if not within Iran that'll knock out production. My guess is Canada.
