IPCC Chairman has the hots for a hottie ?

Things are getting warm for IPCC Chair Rajendra Pachauri.



It seems that it's not just global temperatures that are rising. Pachauri is accused of sexually harassing a 29-year-old female researcher shortly after she joined The Energy and Resources Institute. Lawyers for the woman, who cannot be named, said the harassment by Pachauri included unwanted emails, text messages and WhatsApp messages.

Pachauri has denied the allegations, and says that computer models clearly show that someone hacked his online accounts and pretended to be him. He says that it will become clear, by the end of this century, that he is completely innocent. And that the safest thing to do is to act as if he's done nothing wrong, in the meantime.

Of course, the woman who he's accused of pestering is probably being paid by big oil interests and far-right trusts in the US. It happens all the time.
