Every western nation on this globe is socialist to some degree. Even the USA. It is simply incorrect to say every socialist system fails.

My customers pay my taxes, buy my expensive instruments from Switzerland, keep my lights on, pay my employees and pay their taxes too. I work a lot less than when I was making $40k/yr and had 2 kids to feed.

Good for you. What does that have to do with anything? Does the fact that you labor "less" than I do mean your labor is worth less to you and therefore ought to be redistributed in greater proportion than those who work "more" than you do?
