The difference in tone of the reporting of the Prince Andrew allegations couldn't be starker.

The Prince Andrew allegations are being treated as lies. Not openly, but the message comes over loud and clear. Each time it's mentioned, they quote the New York Lawyer who is calling the woman a liar. ( he has a good motive, as she named him too ).

The British media (particularly the BBC) are under strict orders from above to give the royal family good press. And they do, all of the time. They do their very best, without making it so blatant, that they give the game away.

If you look at the facts, Prince Andrew was a GOOD friend of this man. He visited with him at the relevant times. And the man has been CONVICTED of supplying under-age girls.
If Andy was a DJ, he'd already have been convicted by the media. And probably by a jury too.

That's not saying he did it. Just that they would have nailed him anyway, if he wasn't royal.

This one was some sort of aid working for the guy. I think she was over 18.
The complainant was a minor, at the time of the alleged abuse. What that means in the US is different to the UK.
Under 17, I think in the US.
Although I think there is some difference in the UK between the age of consent, and the age of minority.
It's 16 for consent, but it might be more for being considered a minor.

Dude, she was allegedly 17 at the time and was no "child" by any stretch of the imagination. She was a sexually mature young adult perfectly capable of saying "no" and refusing to board the barge. Given that the age of consent in the UK is 15, I don't see a problem. It's not like she was chained up in the bilge. This is another one of the increasingly frequent "statutory rape" claims against celebrities and notables that are caused by the jackasses who think 17 year olds are children and dumbshit legislators who have rolled over for the arch-feminazis who think that all sex is rape and passed laws eliminating, ex post facto, statutes of limitation on "child sex assault."

It's beyond ridiculous and it's extremely unfair to the accused, not to mention bad public policy to give anyone forever to make a criminal complaint about getting fucked. If you can't report it within two or three years, then you'd better learn to live with it because it's a violation of the defendant's rights to dredge this stuff up decades later.

She's a gold-digger, nothing more.
