North Korea partially back online after internet collapse

Some internet services have been restored in North Korea after an almost unprecedented internet outage, amid a cyber security row with the US.

Though there has been no comment from the authorities in Pyongyang, US experts reported the restoration.

Some analysts say the country's web access was cut entirely for a time.

Washington said it would launch a proportional response to a cyber-attack on Sony Pictures, which made a comedy about North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Officials would not comment on any US involvement in the current outages.

Meanwhile, China's permanent representative to the United Nations has called for all sides to avoid an escalation of tension on the Korean Peninsula after the UN security council put the North's human rights record on its agenda.

If we look at this hacking scam dispassionately we see it for what it is; a hoax.

a) For a start, N. Korea doesn't have the capability to hack multi-national organizations, such as Sony.
b) The hackers made no mention of being N.Korean till several days after, when the presstitutes had repeatedly suggested it. Initial messages were only about getting money.
c) The text of their messages gave every appearance of being a hackneyed attempt to sound Korean.
d) N.Korea & its leadership have been villified many times in the past.
e) N.Korea has nothing to gain from doing such a hack, whereas the USA & Sony have a lot to gain. So, "Who Benefits?"

The United States is widely known as the most beligerent, warmongering country on Earth, & frequently makes outlandish accusations against whoemever it wants. These lies are dutifully disseminated globally by their media, & swallowed whole by gullible patriots, such as on various controlled forums.
