Yeah. It could have been better but every actor totally played their socks off. The best thing about it was thinking how much madder Tom fucking Cruise must have been getting after every scene!!1!

Gravity. I heard bad things about this, that it was boring and that the characters' backstories were annoyingly melodramatic. I didn't find either of these to be true. I was surprised when the film ended, though. "Oh. Is that it?" I thought. Was it a short film? It seemed short to me. I thought there'd be more to it.

Pacific Rim. If you can ignore the stuff that doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense, and the cliche-ridden aspects of the plot, then this is a really cool movie.

Home Alone 2. Die Hard meets Tom And Jerry in festive New York. Love it.

Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, and The Order of the Phoenix. Good fun. Was surprised to see Davis Tennant in a prominent role as a Deatheater in Goblet of Fire.

The Beaver, with Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster. I love Jodie Foster, and was perfectly willing to give Mel Gibson a chance, but this film fell flat for me. Plus I just couldn't buy the whole puppet thing.

Edge of Tomorrow is fun, in an eternal recurrence-multiverse-reincarnation-quantum tunneling sort of way. A good one to watch over and over...

Only Lovers Left Alive. I liked it. Just wished there was more story. Kept waiting for something to happen. It never did. Lots of mood and atmosphere but not much else going on.

It's a Jarmusch. He does that. Does it beautifully IMO. I'll bet you want to know who the mother was in Broken Flowers too... :tea:

Naw, I don't mind a bit of mystery and I like ambiguous endings. I just wished there was more story here to go along with mood and atmosphere, as beautifully as it was indeed done.
