You're willing to risk millions of lives to be politically correct? Your implication is that it's racism that is motivating a travel ban and quarantine. It's not, it's the disease. The fact that it's happening in Africa is entirely irrelevant. If it was happening in France or Australia I'd be saying exactly the same thing.
There needs to be a worldwide stand-still order, like they use in the UK for farmers when an outbreak of Anthrax or other communicable animal disease is discovered. Everybody need to stay where they are for two weeks to allow any escape vectors to be identified and isolated, and then ANY area that has a pool of infected persons needs to be internationally quarantined, with the use of martial law and military force if required, until the infection is controlled and all carriers identified and isolated.
You don't seem to understand the gravity of the situation. This is not a game or a political football, the survival of 70 percent of the human race is at stake and immediate, drastic and effective isolation and quarantine measures need to be undertaken right this fucking minute.
If you don't understand the risks then shut the fuck up about it because I DO understand the risks and how easily this plague can spiral out of control, resulting in millions, or billions of deaths.
The annual Islamic celebrations in Mecca alone are enough to guarantee worldwide disaster of unprecedented proportions, and should be banned until the Ebola crisis is controlled. The only way to do that is to stop ALL transmigration, worldwide, for 14 days minimum so that infection pools can be identified and effectively isolated.
