Whaddya reckon about God's existence?

Strong theist. I know there is a God.

De facto theist. I'm not 100% certain but fairly sure there is a God, so I live on the assumption that there is one.

Leaning towards theism. I think the chance of God's existence is a bit better than 50%.

Impossible. You cannot define the infinite.
Wrong. You can define it, you just can't measure it.
No you are even more wrong than a very wrong person.

You can only define that which is finite. That is by the boundaries that define what it is and what it isn't.

If it has no bounds, it is infinite, but cannot be defined.
Of course you can define the infinite. The infinite is neverending, boundless and ceaseless. But what has this got to do with defining God? It doens't help to define God as "infinite". That doesn't tell us what God is. It just tells us that he's quite old.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

But I can define the infinite as infinite. It has no bounds so it cannot be measured, but infinite is by definition infinite.

Where does the neverending end, then?
Where are the bounds to the boundless?
...and where does ceaselessness cease?

Without these you are not de-fining anything.

To define you must put into a 'box'. You can't squeeze infinity into a box, unless you are Almighty yourself, which I doubt.
But what has this got to do with defining God?
Everything.
It doens't help to define God as "infinite".
You can accuse me of many things, but helpful isn't one of them. :grr:

Sorry. Maybe you're not supposed to know. :nono:

No you are even more wrong than a very wrong person.

You can only define that which is finite. That is by the boundaries that define what it is and what it isn't.

If it has no bounds, it is infinite, but cannot be defined.
Mathematically speaking, that is not strictly true. In many cases, it is possible to give a value to a function as its independent variable tends to infinity. This is the basis of calculus. You can also compare the degree of infinity of various sets - for example, the set of real numbers is "more infinite" than the set of integers. :prof:

There's quite a lot of things you can do with infinity that make perfect sense. However, simply asserting without proof or definition that "god is infinite" is one of the things that makes no fucking sense at all! :tea:

It's not mine, it's a rental, so I've got no equity to draw on and no cash left except for the medical fund, which I won't touch. I'm starting to try to sell stuff like the family heirloom silver and art, and my motorcycles and vehicles.

I knew this day was coming, so I can't really complain, but it still sucks that the money finally ran out. Going back to full time minimum-wage work at sixty sucks giant donkey dick, and I'm essentially unemployable in any of the fields I have experience in due to my age.

But if I have to sleep in my car, at least I have a Mercedes Benz 450GL to do it in. Nice ride. My clients love it.

$0.58/gal Federal taxes+State+County+Local taxes on fuel. This on top of retail prices.
Mercedes parts @ N=1? Yes=retail prices.

You're basically sucking the life out of your vehicle while trading money (at full retail) as cash flow. This you'll see when your high-miles vehicle goes titzup and you can no longer afford to work.
So cheer up, you're essentially borrowing from your personal automobile equity to work for the oil companies and the Government.

I'm a theist I do believe but I can understand why one who wants to be rational could easily draw the conclusion that there is no God because it requires faith every basic text of every religion says as much.
