Nah, I'd think it would be comforting to know you had the equipment necessary to feed yourself pretty much no matter what. But that's because Menz gots no sense in the presence of available lady parts.

My question was more about asking if you got your attitudes about women from your dad? Did he think women were basically out to monetize their reproductive systems?

I'm packing the gear to take care of my needs only too well. It's a big part of my self efficacy. This in turn creates a self sustaining feedback loop called "piscator", in which my abilities to feed myself add to my self efficacy to feed myself, thus building self-efficacy and enhancing my abilities to feed myself...

I thought this thread was about bears? Or the wilderness. Or guns. Or all three. :hehe:

Geeeze. Lighten up dude. It was sarcasm. Your attitude shows an antidiluvian attitude about women and sex. If a lady wants to use her parts to make money, why that's entirely up to her and ought to be her right by law. As a Libertarian I don't judge anyone for using their natural talents or equipment to make a living as long as it's consensual. Why do you assume that prostitution is a bad thing or demeaning to women?

That being said, being a male prostitute requires a special kind of guy who can get it up on demand (although Viagra has widened the pool recently), whereas, as Katie Morgan said, "women in porn only need a bottle of lube and acting skills."

Interesting that women in porn are the high paid participants, whereas the "stunt cocks" make a pittance by comparison.

You almost nailed it your first post - they should have had better sense than to go out when they weren't committed. They also should get a bill for calling out a fucking Blackhawk for a 200-mile trip in supposedly bad weather and activating 200 Coasties over a mild case of the snivelies. I'm sure they got a blankie and some emotional counseling, but they put themselves there and then risked the lives of 5 flight crew after the barbie got blown over.

At least there's the satisfaction of knowing there's no way the Coast Guard would let them bring their rifles, optics, or other expensive gear on the heli...

Yeah, being unprepared for the wilderness should be it's own reward, but we pay the Coasties whether they fly or not so it just keeps them sharp. Plus it makes good press, as we can see.

But yes, they probably need to be sent a bill, just as a lesson in preparedness. But then again that same rationale applies to most everyone. If we billed them for the stupid things they do that require the public to spend money saving them, or just declined to save them, people would act more responsibly to begin with. It's just like the welfare state. When you give people stuff for "free", like rescue or food stamps, it debilitates them and makes them even more of a burden on the public.

Break a leg on a ski slope in Switzerland and the helicopter will evacuate you, and then the operator will send you a six-grand bill, as it should.

Tried not to answer what?

You think making a rude, sarcastic response about females constitutes an admission of misanthropy? You couldn't be more wrong. I believe in absolute equality of the sexes, which means that women are just as subject to criticism and being the butt of jokes as men are. No "poor little thing" from me. They wanted equality and I'm happy to oblige.

You ought to hear some of my female Uber clients gossip about men (and each other). Sheesh. For some strange reason they must think their driver is deaf, dumb and mute they way they talk about their intimate relationships. They have no shame at all, nor should they. I've heard the words "nigger" and "fuck" and "ho" and "moneymaker" "cock" "pussy" and every other form of rap misogyny and demeaning insult to women more since I started driving again than in my whole life, and ALL of it has been played by women, not men.

Probably they'd be shocked to know that everything they say is being video and audio recorded and shot right to the cloud, where it's stored away for future reference. Their problem, because the camera has a little blue light on it indicating it's recording. Pity they are too drunk to notice it.

:naughty:

P.S. Just FYI it's perfectly legal for me to do so here without their knowledge or consent, and it's for my safety and theirs that I video everything that goes on in my car.

"An enormous black bear mauled a hunter who had shot the creature with a bow and arrow and tracked it into dense woodland in Minnesota on Saturday afternoon.
Craig Lindstrom, a firefighter and friend of the victim..."

I'm confused. Lindstrom was friends with the bear?
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

If you stick a big black bear a good shot and it runs off into the thick stuff, come back the next morning with a dog and a .358 lever action. Problem solved with less chance for drama.

So WDTGNTTDH?....a neighbor's dog, a good brush gun of sufficient caliber, and the goddamn sense to know when discretion is the better part of valor? :ask:

A HD camera or camcorder ...

The real question is: Was he entitle to replace his ball, or did he have to play it as it lied? :ask:

Rule 18
Ball at Rest Moved
18-1. By Outside Agency
If a ball at rest is moved by an outside agency, there is no penalty and the ball must be replaced.
...

I'll add that since bears, alligators, bees, and rattlesnakes are considered dangerous under the Rules, the player is entitled to a free drop, and does not have to retrieve his ball in this instance. :prof:
