I'd laugh if it weren't so sad. For the dead kid and its family, but also for people being so utterly delusional that they thank the omnipotent being that just destroyed their home. Mysterious ways, my arse.

My co-worker is from Pilger, Nebraska. Her parents live on a farm south of town and they watched as both tornadoes formed and touched down. They said the tornadoes appeared white from their vantage point.

God's swill.

Yabut what about trusting god for once? Mick says we can.

I watched a PBS show about the Dust Bowl late last night. God was visiting plagues upon the sinful farmers. Drought, wind, topsoil removal, haboobs, pneumonia, jackrabbits, etc - kids were especially vulnerable to "Dust pneumonia".
Fortunately, God in His Infinite Mercy appointed several key Congressmen to allocate taxpayer funds to help train farmers to hold on to their topsoil, since California had about all the Okies they knew what to do with. This pleased The Almighty, and He sent rains a short 5 years later. They still can't grow much wheat in vast areas of the Dust Bowl without draining aquifers, but The Grace of God provided oil to some of it, and enriched His chosen people.

His chosen people have smart genes and get out of dodge when they see the god they believe in starting to stir. Where did they get their smart genes? aliens. :demon:

God numbered the hairs on His people before He ever made the oil for them to find. Same as the little ones he takes by white tornado. He raised us all from the dust, so it's OK.
