Atheist with a Gun blog
Those who want to take your guns will be holding the leashes of those who get to keep theirs.
Liberty is cruel. She requires you to stand and take responsibility for your choices. Tyranny is a kind master who requires only that you kneel and surrender your choices.

MOSCOW — Russia has announced funeral arrangements for Lt. Gen. Mikhail T. Kalashnikov, inventor of the AK-47 assault rifle.

“Comrade Kalashnikov will be buried in a pit of mud with full military honors,” said General-Major Saiga Molot, a spokesman for the Russian army. “After a week, we will exhume his body, clean it off, and put him back to work. We expect that there shall be no issue with his functions.”
...
Kalashnikov is survived by 21 major variants and 31 national operators in addition to several unknown and unidentified versions.

Classic Mattel Tommy Burst Detective Set!
Rare early 1960's TV commercial for Mattel's Tommy Burst submachine gun detective set. Load in some fresh caps, pull the bolt back, and brace yourself for the god-awful noise it produced along with a small cloud of smoke around the barrel tip. Fantastic!

Mattel Agent Zero M

Johnny Seven OMA

Mattel Winchester lever action rifle replicas--Shootin' Shell

Matty Mattel Saves the Wagon Train--Rapid Fire Action

Mattel Swivel Holster Revolver

Mattel Thunder Burp Machine Gun

Zero M Sonic Blaster for Spies

Pfeifer-Zeliska 600 magnum revolver
Austrian Pfeifer-Zeliska .600 Nitro Express Magnum. Chambered to fire the British .600 caliber rifle round (originally made by Holland and Holland 1899 for large game, AKA elephants). Originally a one-off built for a wealthy Swiss gentleman, a Mr Zeliska.
Can also be built chambered for .458 Winchester Magnum.
Cartridges are no longer being manufactured commercially so one has to contract with a reloading company to have some made. Current price per cartridge is ~ $40 each. These guys will sell you some: http://www.kynochusa.com/
Gunslingers with enough disposable income can contact Pfeifer arms and they will make on for you, cost $17K.
Single Action. Weighs just over 13 pounds.

Plus the $200 for the NFA tax stamp because it's larger than .500 caliber, which makes it an NFA item.

My first rifle, the Cricket*

From the specs:
Caliber: .22 Short, Long or Long Rifle standard or high velocity [.22 something depending on model]
Action: Manually cocking single-shot bolt action
Safety: Rebounding firing pin automatically blocked to prevent accidental discharge

Some perspective on size

*My--meaning mine--first rifle was an M16, second an AR7 that I bought from a Walmart in Los Angeles when California was a better place for gun enthusiasts to live. I really regret having sold the AR7.
