These IQ step downs are horrendous sometimes. Gotta save the world mister. Same way the hydrogen beep provides a fixed universal frame of reference, shouldn't be there but it is, so atheism is the home of humanities collective morality(no reason for it given all the efforts in 'trying cultural endeavours' like communism and religion etc. :pop:

The world doesn't need saving. It'll be around for a couple of million years after you and I have kicked the proverbial bucket. Whether the current species or its decendants will be inhabiting it, is a different question.

Also: what collective morality does Atheism entail? I've missed that manifesto.

Yeah, and what does this have to do with atheism again? :bored:

A world that doesn't believe in God is better than a individual. Unless you can convince me bullying doesn't happen to atheists when they are a minority, especially in religious societies. Part of the road to a atheist world. :cuddle:

I don't know what that means. I agree that we need to shove a chainsaw up capitalism's arse. It's simply got nothing to do with atheism, though.

America is amongst the worlds worst God pushers. It'd be less easy to take God seriously if the worlds top global fiat currency didn't have 'in god we trust' written on it. A picture of Charles Darwin would push atheism as a 'meme' better. :read:

Yeah yeah yeah. Atheists pedophiles and nudists made society collapse. Back to hunting and gathering.

Religions only exist because of a economic substrate. Atheism doesn't need to take over the world if atheists control the worlds access to energy. Atheism will spread like the popularity of a band, by being top dog in a arena of universal human concern. It's all about the oil. Who ever controls the remaining oil owns the shop.

Theocracies controlled societies long before oil became economically significant. The Roman Catholic Church had no more economic clout than any other members of the aristocracy. Most of its material, political and social clout derived from tithes extorted by threatening eternal fire, brimstone and gnashing of teeth. You're making as much sense as usual, Scumple.

As long as I get one televangelist I don't care who the other 6 are.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Religions are after oil. There's a oil man in charge of the Anglican church. Go figure? It's a black swan event, the future cannot be judged on what happened in the past.
