Yes, that would be the time of Abraham, the grandfather of Jacob who according to Hebrew and Christian religious texts was renamed "Israel" after an all-night wrestling match with an angel or god himself. It was this man who took his people - all 70 of them - to Egypt voluntarily because they were experiencing their second year of starvation in the Levant, and there was plenty to eat in Egypt. By the time the tribe had grown to number of 600,000, the Pharaoh had become scared of them as a military force and ordered all their male infants killed. Thus began the Exodus. The Exodus finished with the genocide of six of the seven tribes that lived in the promised land. The seventh was lucky in so far as it was merely enslaved.

So much for the Zionist justification for being the rightful owners of the Levant. In reality it is even more iffy, given the dearth of contemporary documentation. Relying on bronze age writings that tell us about talking snakes and wrestling matches with angels or gods seems somewhat foolhardy, but apart from archaeological remains we have bugger-all else. All we can conclude from what we do have is that Seth (the forum member, not the biblical entity) is talking crap once again.

Yes, Richard and John existed. But Robin Hood is just a story, with no historical basis.

And all that stuff about Israel is just stories. There is no historical evidence for any exodus, and they have spent millions trying to find anything that might back up the old testament stories. It's not there.
Even the fabled King David has nothing to back up the story. There is just one inscription, that makes a very vague reference to a household of David, but it's indirect, not a direct reference.

There's basically nothing, just the old testament stories. And without evidence, that's all they are, stories.
