Every other people on the planet consider their homeland as being where they were born.
You don't hear black Africans talking about their homeland being Nigeria or Congo.
My own parents were Irish, and their ancestors 2,000 years ago were probably Danish or Norwegian. I don't hark back to a mythical homeland in Ireland, or Denmark. My homeland is the UK, as if I give a shit.
I'm used to it, and that's as far as it goes.

Most Americans don't consider themselves to be wandering without a homeland. And they certainly won't, in 2,000 years time.

There's no historical evidence at all for a Jewish history going back 5,000 years.
