Sort of back on topic, I find the 13 yr old thing in Spain to be a bit disturbing. Hopefully there's conditions around that - like a maximum age gap between fuckers; so that you can't have 50 yr old geezers shagging 13 yr olds.

I got it off wiki.
On that, they said that the conditions were that it was an offence, if deception or trickery was involved, but not if there is genuine consent. It didn't say anything about age gaps.

I agree, I don't think it's right. I think sixteen is about right, but it should be left to judges how serious the offence is, for ages between 14 and 16. To call it rape, if the girl is 15yrs 364 days, and the boy is 16 yrs and 1 day, is ridiculous, if both were consenting.

Judges should be given the job of judging. That's what they get the big salary for. Automatic guilt based on age is bollocks.

To be honest, I think that's how it works in most progressive jurisdictions. I agree, 16 is adult enough. But 13 is ridiculous. Not in terms of 13 year olds shagging 14 or 15 yr olds, but 13 yr olds potentially being taken advantage of by 16/18+ yr olds. Not to mention full mature adults like 30+.
