That's not real difficulty though. That's just annoying. Dark Souls is based on patience and learning with no cheap tricks. It feeds my dopamine receptors quite nicely.

It's a pity you quit it. I actually envy your position. I played the game three Sundays ago and finished it in a few hours. I basically went in with a plan in my head of what I needed and what I wanted to do and executed it. I finished off the first three bosses in around fifteen minutes. When you know what you are doing they're nothing. I'd love to have that almost terrified feeling back again when I walked around everywhere quivering and on edge. My biggest fear about Dark Souls 2 is I won't find it as much of a challenge now that I know the mechanics like I didn't find it's predecessor, Demon's Souls that difficult when I played it.

I love it but my current compy won't display the pointer, making it unplayable. I'll try reinstalling it on the comp I am to buy next year.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I've been dying to try out this Share function. Will be broadcasting the Killzone Saturday games with the Official PlayStation Community for the next couple of hours if anyone's interested.

Don't Starve is a survival game which throws you out into a Burton-esque wilderness with no tools or items and expects you to scavenge them from the landscape with the sole objective of not dying of hunger, or going insane or getting eaten yourself.

I can honestly say that this in one of the most addictive games I've ever played. Every game ends in perma-death and each restart is a challenge to last longer than previous. If you have a PS4 this game is free this month on PS Plus. Or alternatively you can purchase it on PS4 and PC.

Playing Bioshock Infinite which I just go tree on Playstation Plus for PS3. Also got Metro. And getting Outlast on PS4 next week. That's like €100 worth of games for my €7 a month. Not bad.

I've only had a chance to play the beginning of Bioshock and I'm sucked in already. Have to study for an exam tomorrow now. Trying desperately hard not to procrastinate.

Dark Souls 2 is almost upon us. Who, if anyone, will be joining me in the quest?

I'm really looking forward to it and it will give me something to play until Titanfall on the 28th, which should keep me going until Watchdogs and Destiny later this year.

I want Titanfall :sulk: MS are arseholes for buying the game up.

I need a new laptop soon. I might see if I can get one that can run it and hook it into the TV and use the wireless keyboard and mouse. Its system requirements are quite low due to it running on an old Source engine.

Though I do have an Xbox there which someone gave me for nothing a few weeks ago. But I'd have to also pay for Xbox Live.

Actually, no. I'm not giving Microsoft anything :hmph:

Guess I'll be playing InFamous: Second Son. I got a message from The Official PlaysStation Forum yesterday telling me they were sending me a free copy of Knack for my outstanding contribution. It'll give me something to trade in against InFamous.

Yeah well PS are arseholes for the same with regards to "The Last of Us." I hate such exclusivity, like having a DVD player that only plays Warner Bros movies, it's insane.

You should be able to pick up a decent enough laptop for a couple of hundred quid.

Oh I've also been playing the Hearthstone Beta. I wasn't ever a fan of Magic the Gathering or anything like that, but Blizzard turned it into something quick to learn and really really fun to play, plus each game lasts about 5 to 20 minutes. It's free, check it out before it vanishes if you are into such things.

Well, it's not really the same. The Last of US is a first-party exclusive. PlayStation own the studio. It's no different to Nintendo with Mario.
Titanfall, on the other hand, is made by EA. It was originally supposed to be a timed exclusive, but then Microsoft threw money at them and made a deal, apparently without the developers knowledge. The developers wanting to make a COD-killer, but that won't happen now that EA have, again, backed the wrong horse. I think we'll be getting the sequels, though.

There's a The Last of Us movie in the pipeline.

Not sure how I feel about that. It doesn't need it.

Well the rumours around suggest PS4 might get a port for it.

I know what you're saying but still exclusives suck dogs balls.

As for the movie... hmmmm.... skeptical.
