For someone who regards the place with such disdain and contempt, Samsa certainly likes to spend a lot of time over there. I suppose he believes his mere presence in a thread elevates the level of discourse.

Ah, is this where the ridiculous accusations against me started from? Some of the people there I like, and have discussions with, but it's generally drowned out by morons. And yes, my presence does provide a drop of sanity in an ocean of wankery - this isn't a claim about my greatness but rather a simple observation that the average level of discourse is greater than what is found on much of RatSkep.

Paula and I were just reminiscing about ePete and the circumstances that led to Samsa's six month suspension.

ePete was so far up Samsa's butt, I didn't know if that was for the lulz or if ePete and Samsa had a thing going. I suspect it was merely to yank Cito's chain.

One of my former close friends, whom I'd known since I was a child got involved in a relationship which he deliberately and visibly sabotaged. The poor girl got so sick of his shit that she left him at which point he would call me and everyone else to tell us a various litany of the same three points. She was a slut and an idiot, he was stupid for letting her go and he was so lonely without her. While I do not have a facebook account and never will, I was pointed by other friends to their barrage of post breakup bickering, which went on for about 2 years. They hurt each other, neither could forgive or forget, neither could admit they were both antagonistic to each other in and out of the relationship and were fighting "publicly" to try and get people on their sides.

It kinda reminds me of that, though since I don't know the people involved here and don't really care about their squabbles it is less annoying, equally as tragic and much much funnier.
