BTW, Love and Death is one of the best comedic films ever. Fact! :coffee:

I can't think of one Woody Allen film that I have knowingly seen. :dunno:

I can't think of one that I've willingly seen.

I read Without Feathers - some funny stuff in there - including a couple of plays, parts of which were used in subsequent films.

Hmmm do I believe the iffy creepy middle aged neurotic who likes young women because they are "simple" and has no issue with dating his ex-wife's adopted child or the histrionic unstable nut-case who collects children like cats? Might as well ask who was the most loving parent Fred or Rose West.

Dylan Farrow was certainly abused by at least one parent. The quick rush to judgement from the shrieking classes seems to me to be a classic case of anti-Semitism.

Not as mad as the people who worship at their altars.

I watched it last night. It has had really good reviews and while Cate Blanchett is absolutely stunningly good, that for me was all it had to offer. The plotting was weak in parts - relying on coincidental meetings on two occasions to drive it forward, the two kids in it were badly directed and it was stilted in a few spots. Certainly worth seeing for Cate Blanchett's performance but that is about it for me.

Woody on stand up routine: is there life after death? And can we still take showers?

Reminds me of Tiny Tim. He was into showers.
