I still get a "kick" (sorry!) out of bands that my kids found who have a good drummer. Kind of gave up on drum solos (Rush) but a couple of years ago took my teens to Blink 182. Lyrics were mostly tolerable. Drummer was great! Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend et al. Lots of 4 piece rocking teenage combos out there!

The much advertised 1963 Bootlegs are at iTunes today, at least. May disappear. I had 10 dolalrs iTunes funny money froma year ago, so I think I bought 6 tracks. To get 59 tracks you pay 40 dollars. And most of it is the same quality of as the disc stuff, four discs of BBC available. But some early studio out takes are funny. I got Misery without the happy piano added.

I got sheet music now for two collections and one real album. With tab. My ten year plan is to learn some sort of accompanyment perfectly on 10 songs. I have a Yamaha nylon string I play Willie Nelson style. I also have the simple chord and lyric only book. It wont stay open so I have to xerox say Yellow Submarine. It is probably the easiest song.
