I've been tempted, both here and at RatSkep. It is easy to be harsh about the situation; there's plenty to be harsh about. But it's important to remember that people actually live there, and are really suffering.

Virtually none in most UK cities. Incidentally I think the amazing thing is the functional and wonderful places many cities manage to be. Of course there are dumps, but they are a rarity which is amazing when you consider all the boxes they have to tick. I love cities myself. I'll give Detroit a miss though I think!
