I was given a year of free milkshakes once. The year passed and I hadn’t bothered to get even one.

Quite a run .....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5iftm3WwQYThe concert took place at one of Paris’ oldest and most elegant venues: Le Trianon. These four young Canadians released their first album, a magnificent piece of work, just over a year ago and here they were now, headlining at such a majestic venue.
The band started off by performing in tiny venues in Canada and their first international gig was in France at tiny place called the Pop-In (50 people capacity)…just 1 year ago!
This time they performed to over 1500 people who were screaming their lungs out for every single song. The band members were obviously overwhelmed and emotional because it was their last gig in Paris until their next album comes out. They seem to have built a special rapport with this city. Paris pushed them to get bigger, saw them grow, and also witnessed them performing as an opening act just a few months ago; so nobody could have expected that they would headline such a huge venue and have such a dedicated audience for their music in such a short amount of time. A dream come true was unfolding before our very eyes. Personally the most impressive thing of all was to be able to see the progress they’d made since I discovered their music at a private showcase in a venue called “Silencio”.
Both the album and their live performance are impeccable. These are musicians that are unrivaled and it’s captivating to watch them at work. The drummer’s got one hand on his kit and another on a keyboard, the front man performs unbelievable solos…they are all multi-instrumentalist and they seem to have a blast on stage. This was a brilliant concert; so much so, that they were called back by the audience twice (!) and performed a song in A-capella to finish off in style. We’re eagerly awaiting to see them grow bigger and bigger…
