Well I am pretty sure there's summat, like. People are confused about religion and spirituality, and recommitting to Christian education in schools would fix all that. Just not the way you wanted :tea:
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Being "spiritual" in Joe Public's perspective (assuming Joe claims not to ally with any religion) is simply comfort seeking of another form. There's often a large ego at play in the guise of Joe feeling his essential part to play in the grand scheme of things (I exist ergo I must have a purpose).
What's wrong with just knowing that we are "offspring of the stars"? That's just fucking AWEsome.
