Which Film Version of "I Am Legend' Is Best?

Post by Bella Fortuna » Mon Sep 02, 2013 3:44 am

Just finished the book by Matheson and am re-watching "Omega Man" - which is nothing like the book, of course. It's very dated but still kinda fun for that reason. We'll be watching "The Last Man on Earth" tomorrow. Haven't seen the Will Smith version; don't know if I'd bother.

Which do you like, or hate, and why?

Omega Man. Never seen Last Man. When Heston gets speared or whatnot and the fountain gets all bloody. Awesome. Fuck, 70's sci-fi was so bleak.

I picked 'I Am Legend', but only because that's the only one I've seen.

There is also this pile of shit

So, the Price version is creepy, the Heston version funky and funny, (If you imagine that Chuck Heston plays himself) the Smith version has some nice touches but would have been better if the dog was the star.

Oh. I have I Am Legend in my collection. I'll have to watch it again. I have a vague recollection of having liked it, I think :ask:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

It's all religious-y. The world is bad so God doesn't exist. Or God doesn't exist. There needs to be no condition.
