About me: When ever I behave as a man I am called sexist, It seems being a male is now illegal and nobody sent me the memo. Good job as I would have told them to fuck off.

Lol, Syria, politics, gun control etc and posters argue the merits of each side. Mention chips, fries and crisps then it is WWIII. Good job nobody mentioned bacon and/or cheese or all hell would have broken out. :hairfire: :panic:
We should be MOST skeptical of ideas we like because we are sufficiently skeptical of ideas that we don't like. Penn Jillette.

In the UK, yes. :tea:
Now that is weird. "Crisps" for potato chips actually makes sense, since potato chips are crispy, but tortilla chips are more crunchy than crispy, so clearly they should be called "crunches".
They get called both tortilla crisps and tortilla chips over here. The only "crunches" we have are abdominal.
US Army tankers call infantrymen "Crunchies", because that's the sound they make when tanks roll over them. :hilarious:

Good to hear you guys don't have budget crunches over there.

No, a chip is just something that has been "chipped", like wood chip.

I'm hoping you're just joking with you're insistence that the US names are right and the UK names are wrong. If not, it's a very silly position to take.

Then I guess I'll never live... I don't know hhow fucking long it would take me to down 10 pints... likely 5 to 7 hours... I'm not likely to stay in a pub that long... and then I'll have a sausage meal as I hate fish nearly as much as Pappa despises tomatoes.

A chip to a fry is what Santa Claus is to the latest East African famine victim. Same species but totally different inside and out.

I was referring to your preference for sausage over fish when choosing haute cuisine at a choppy...

I get what I can eat, preferably with relish... fish doesn't fit the bill. period. I'm a terrestrial meat eater.

There are more kinds of relish then there are opinions about relish. From the lowly mustard-and-pickle hotdog relish to sweet relish to chow-chow and piccalilli. Corn relish, tomato relish, cilantro-cucumber relish, dill relish, even Branston's Pickle.

The relish tent is a large and tasty tent indeed.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

hardly racist, but definitely unfair. providing one kind of condiment free, but charging for another is discrimination against a type of customer who could be any old race.

There was a chef in Johannesburg called "Kitchen Boy", he had a very trendy restaurant. There was no menu, you got whatever he decided to make that day, and you waited weeks for a reservation. Occasionally he'd send the waiters out to take the salt and pepper off the tables, saying "Kitchen Boy has decided the meal is properly seasoned". Lol.
