Right wing equivalent of Cobert/Daily Show?

My take is that right wingers are too angry to do humour. Too many moral crusades to wage, or dollars to count. Although, I'd be surprised if there wasn't an equivalent of some sort.

But I wouldn't be too quick to say that Monty Python were leftists, or even centrists. They are liberals - but, like me, it is possible to be conservative and liberal at the same time. (Fiscally conservative, socially liberal).

Anyway, this is derailing slightly. I was looking for equivalents of Cobert and The Daily Show in particular.

You can't be on the side against gays, non-nationals and feminists, and be infectiously patriotic and cripplingly religious, and have the good nature to be witty and charming all at the same time.

Your claim was that people on the right are too angry to do humour. This generalisation is fallacious, and all that is required to demonstrate its falsity is a "black swan".

But you do note that there is an equivalent I suppose - the one's I point out being prime examples.

But they are not representative of the left as I see it. They are a humourless subset.

Most people on the right are not lunatics like the teabaggers. Most people on the right have just as good a sense of humour as any other human beings - although some are clearly humourless assholes.

I think here the comedy goes after the right more because the extreme right is found on Fox News instead of mainly on the web with the extreme left.
