Organising A Music Collection

Post by cronus » Mon Aug 05, 2013 10:36 pm

I've a few thousand albums and decided to divide them into three folders which will be a emulated on the music player. There's no way I want to keep searching through or putting up with classical next to electronica whilst listening. So I've three folders, called Magic, Charm and Tradition. In Magic will be mainstream, pop and rock and boppy numbers. In Charm will be ambient, chillout and smooth modern jazz/acid. Whilst Tradition will contain fifties crooners, classical and traditional jazz/easy listening. Also on the music player there'll be a fourth option combining Magic and Charm. That's four Radio like channels I can put on random play in the back ground. No more having to be tediously anal with a vast collection.
